PM Kisan Scheme 2026:The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the extension of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme for another five years, allowing it to continue until the financial year 2030–31.
To support the continuation of the scheme, the government has approved an expenditure of ₹3.15 lakh crore. The announcement was made by Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
PM-Kisan Beneficiaries Await 24th Installment
The Cabinet’s decision comes at a time when millions of farmers across India are eagerly waiting for the 24th installment of the PM-Kisan scheme.
According to media reports, the 24th PM-Kisan installment is expected to be released in October 2026, possibly during the Navratri festival. However, the government has not yet announced the official release date.
