Gujarat RTE Admission 2025-26: Online application for RTE Admission 2025-26 is starting from 28 February 2025. The last date to apply online is 12 March 2025.
Gujarat RTE Admission 2025-26: The Gujarat Government has announced the admission process for 2025-26 to get admission in schools under RTE (Right to Education). Only children who have completed six years of age on June 1, 2025, will be admitted to Standard-1.

The Gujarat Government is implementing a scheme to provide free admission of 25% of the children belonging to weaker and disadvantaged groups to Standard-1 in unaided private primary schools under Section 12 (1) A of The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act-2009. Only those children who have completed six years on 1 June 2025 and have the priority shown below are eligible for admission under this scheme as per the priority order.
All the necessary details regarding this like what supporting documents are to be submitted along with the application, where to submit the application, etc. are posted on the website. A necessary period has been kept between the date of admission announcement and the date of online application so that the applicant can collect the necessary supporting documents and submit the online application within the deadline.
Instructions for filling online forms for parents under RTE
To avoid cancellation of your form, before filling the form, carefully read the details of the required documents for filling the form and the documents to be uploaded while filling the form as shown on the homepage. And upload all the original documents as requested. If the documents are faded, photocopied and illegible, the form will be rejected.
If the child's father has any one of the following as proof of residence: Aadhaar card/passport/electricity bill/water bill/election card/ration card, then a registered rent agreement is not required.
In case none of the above mentioned grounds is present, the registered rent agreement - a rent agreement registered as per Gujarat Stamp Act 1958 and deposited in the concerned police station will be considered valid.
(Notarized rental agreements will not be considered valid).
In case of non-PAN card holder/PAN card holder but not filing income tax return, it will be mandatory to upload a self-declaration in the prescribed format stating that there is no income subject to income tax while filling the online form.
While filling the form, please ensure that only the schools you wish to choose for admission are arranged in the order of your preference.
