Eligibility for UGC NET 2024

Educational Qualification

For General/UR-EWS Candidates:
  • Minimum 55% marks in Masters Degree.
  • Candidates with four year graduation degree qualify for JRF with 75% marks.
SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Economically Weaker Section (EWS):
  • Relaxation available with 50% marks.

Age Limit

  • For JRF: Maximum age 31 years.
  • For NET: No age limit.

Application Fee

  • General/UR : ₹1150
  • General-EWS/OBC-NCL : ₹600
  • SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender : ₹325

  2. Login: After filling the application number and password click “SIGN IN”.
