When a daughter is born in Madhya Pradesh, only then the application for this scheme is made, and for the next 5 years, an amount of ₹ 6000 is deposited in the bank account in the name of the daughter every year.
Under this scheme, a total amount of ₹30000 is given to the girl in 5 years. Apart from this, an amount of ₹2000/- is given on getting admission in class 6, an amount of ₹4000 on getting admission in class 9 and an amount of ₹7500 is given on getting admission in class 11. Apart from this, an amount of more than 1 lakh rupees is paid on attaining the age of 21 years.
