Subsidy will be stopped under Ujjwala scheme
Under the Ujjwala scheme, poor families are given Rs 300 per cylinder as subsidy. But the government has noticed that lakhs of people have still not gone through the e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) process. The subsidy of such people will be stopped. Therefore, all people are requested to get e-KYC done as soon as possible.
All consumers will get a discount of Rs 300
The government is going to give a big gift to all LPG gas cylinder consumers before the upcoming elections. Currently, the price of a cylinder is around Rs 903, but after the new rule, consumers will get a discount of Rs 300. That is, they will be able to buy the cylinder for just Rs 600.
LPG gas cylinder price cut possible
The prices of petrol, diesel and LPG gas cylinders are revised on the first of every month. This time too, the prices of LPG gas cylinders are expected to be reduced by Rs 10 to Rs 50. This will provide further relief to consumers.
