When an Aadhaar card holder moves from one place to another, he or she will have to change address mentioned on the unique ID proof. Earlier it was slightly difficult but now it can be done by sitting at home using Aadhaar Card online service. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has shared a video from its official twitter handle on how to change Aadhaar card address online.
The UIDAI tweet sharing a video on how to do the Aadhaar Card address update online says, "You can easily update your address in Aadhaar online. All you need is your registered mobile number to receive the OTP for login and a colored scan of an address proof in your name.

Here is the step by step guide:
1] Log in at UIDAI website — uidai.gov.in; Aadhaar website :-https://uidai.gov.in/
2] Go to 'Update Aadhaar' section and click at 'Update your address online';
3] Click at 'Proceed to Update Address' option;
4] Enter you 12-digit Aadhaar card number and Captcha;
5] Click at 'Send OTP' option;
6] Enter OTP and then log in;
7] Click at 'Update address via address proof';
8] Fill full address including landmark, street number, PIN Code, etc.;
9] Click at preview button before submitting the address details;
10] Click at Submit button; and
11] Select one of the documents that will be considered as your address proof and submit. The document has to be in JPEG, PNG and PDF format only.
