Lashkar commander Naseer Killed in Handwara Encounter, 6 militants killed in last 48 hours
In Handwara Encounter, security forces have gunned down mastermind Lashkar commander Naseer ud Din Lone who killed 6 CRPF Jawans. Last Wednesday night, two terrorists were killed during the encounter in the Ganipora Kralgund area of Handwara, in which one Sopore Lashkar commander Naseer ud Din Lone and another Pakistani terrorist were killed. Jammu and Kashmir police said that Naseer-those Deen lone was involved in the killing of 3 CRPF Jawans in Sopore on April 18 this year and killing of 3 CRPF Jawans in Handwara on May 4 this year. He was the mastermind of a group of terrorists who attacked security forces in Sopore and Handwara. On May 4, the AK-47 rifle, which was concealed from security forces, was found near Naseer. That proves his involvement in the may 4 attack.In the last 48 hours, security forces have gunned down a total of 6 terrorists in separate operations. Which includes several top commanders of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Earlier, security forces gunned down a total of 3 terrorists in a 30-hour long encounter on Tuesday. The murderer of leader Wasim Bari also included terrorist Sajjad and Pakistani terrorist Usman. On Wednesday evening also, security forces gunned down 1 terrorist in the Chittagam Ncounter of Shopian. The operation is underway to flush out the militants in the valley.
