Important Instructions
1. Carefully check the e-admit card and bring the discrepancies, if any, to the notice of UPSC immediately.
2. Mention your name, roll number, registration ID and name of the examination and year in all correspondence with UPSC.
3. Bring this e-admit card (print out) with (original) photo identity card, the number of which is mentioned in the e-admit card, to secure admission to the examination hall in each session. The e-admit card should be preserved till the declaration of final result as its production is necessary before the service selection board.
4. You are responsible for the safe custody of the e-admit card and in the case of any other person using this e-admit card, it is the responsibility of you to prove that you have not used the service of any impersonator.
5. Please note that the exam venue will be closed for the session at 9:50 pm for the session i.e. 10 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the entrance examination and 01:50 PM for the afternoon session. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination site after the entry is discontinued.
6. Candidates are advised to visit their exam venue at least one day in advance and get acquainted with the itinerary to avoid last minute hassle in their interest. They should arrive at the examination venue for thorough search on the day of the examination.
7. Candidates should note that they will not be allowed to sit at any other place except the space mentioned in the e-admit card. If a candidate appears in another place for some reason, his/her candidature will be liable to be cancelled.

9. Your candidature in the exam is provisional.
10. Candidate should not use any mobile phone (even in switch off mode), pager or any electronic device or programmable device or storage media such as pen drive, smart watch, etc., or camera or Bluetooth device or any other device or related accessories either in working or off mode that is able to use as a communication device during examination. Disciplinary action, including a ban from future examinations, will be taken on violations of these directives.
11. Permission for use of general or ordinary wrist watches by candidates to check examination rooms/examination rooms. Inside the hall. However, the use of watches fitted with any particular accessory, which can be used as communication equipment or smart watches, is strictly prohibited and candidates are asked to enter the examination rooms/rooms. Such watches are not allowed to be carried out in the hall.

13. Answers made by black ball point pens will not be evaluated.
14. Candidates are advised to do any valuables/items in the examination hall. Do not bring expensive goods, because it cannot be assured of being protected. The Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
15. Candidates who do not have clear photo on e-admit card will have to bring one photo identity proof and two passport size photo one for each session to appear in the examination with an undertaking.
16. Candidates should note that the OMR answer sheet specifically contains the encoding/encoding in respect of roll number and test booklet series code. No omission/lapse in filler details Mistake/ Mistake The discrepancy will render the answer book liable for rejection.
17. Masks/masks for all candidates. It is mandatory to wear a face cover. Without Masks/Masks Candidates with face cover will not be allowed to enter the venue.
